It is not our intention here to teach you about the Holy Spirit. There are many wonderful books by people more versed than this humble servant. My desire is to make you aware of how precious His baptism is. He is called the Comforter for good reason.Holy Spirit
Just as we are most vulnerable when we share our deepest self with others, the Holy Spirit is the most intimate sharing of God with His creation. That is why the Bible speaks of blaspheming the Holy Spirit as the unforgivable sin.
No one can come to the Father unless the Holy Spirit draws them. It is His mission to convict us of our sin and grant us the desire to repent and turn from our ways.
So all believers have the Holy Spirit, but there is a further immersion in Him. It is called the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It's the difference between dipping your toes in the water and jumping in to swim.
What can I say about the Holy Spirit that would entice you with longing to live in the Spirit. Perhaps the best thing to do is simply quote from someone who knew the Holy Presence intimately. Only the Holy Spirit can put such craving in a man's heart for more of God.

The word rendered love is agape in the Greek, which in the Christian context refers to unconditional love. Strong's Exhaustive Concordance describes Agape as:
Strong's #26: A word to which Christianity gave new meaning. Outside of the NT, it rarely occurs in existing Greek manuscripts of the period. Agape denotes an undefeatable benevolence and unconquerable goodwill that always seeks the highest of the other, no matter what he does. It is the self-giving love that gives freely without asking anything in return, and does not consider the worth of its object. Agape is more a love by choice than philos, which is love by chance; and it refers to the will rather than the emotion. Agape describes the unconditional love God has for the world. The "Agape" love is more than that, is sacrificial, demonstrated by Jesus at the Cross of Calvary.
Paul describes the attributes of this love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a:
"Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. The Greek word for 'joy' is chara, derived from the word charis, which is the Greek word for 'grace.' This is important to note, for it tells us categorically that chara is produced by charis of God. This means 'joy' is not a human-based happiness that comes and goes...Rather, true 'joy' is divine in origin...it is a Spirit-given expression that flourishes best in hard times. For example, in 1 Thessalonians 1:6, the Thessalonians were under great stress due to persecution; yet in the midst of it all, they continued to experience great joy. In fact, the Greek strongly implies that their supernatural joy was due to the Holy Spirit working in them. Paul even called it the "joy of the Holy Ghost". Peace is the result of resting in a relationship with God. Peace is a tranquility, a state of rest, that comes from seeking after God, or, the opposite of chaos.
The word "peace" comes from the Greek word eirene, the Greek equivalent for the Hebrew word shalom, which expresses the idea of wholeness, completeness, or tranquility in the soul that is unaffected by the outward circumstances or pressures. The word eirene strongly suggests the rule of order in place of chaos. When a person is dominated by peace, he has a calm, inner stability that results in the ability to conduct himself peacefully, even in the midst of circumstances that would normally be very nerve-wracking, traumatic, or upsetting...Rather than allowing the difficulties and pressures of life to break him, a person who is possessed by peace is whole, complete, orderly, stable, and poised for blessing.
Jesus is described as the Prince of Peace, who brings peace to the hearts of those who desire it. He says in John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." NKJV

Patience, which in some translations is "longsuffering" or "endurance," is defined in Strong's by two Greek words, makrothumia and hupomone.
The first, pronounced (mak-roth-oo-mee-ah) comes from makros, "long," and thumos, "temper." The word denotes lenience, forbearance, fortitude, patient endurance, longsuffering. Also included in makrothumia is the ability to endure persecution and ill-treatment. It describes a person who has the power to exercise revenge but instead exercises restraint. (Strong's #3115)
The latter, hupomone, (hoop-om-on-ay) is translated "endurance": Constancy, perseverance, continuance, bearing up, steadfastness, holding out, patient endurance. The word combines hupo, "under," and mone, "to remain." It describes the capacity to continue to bear up under difficult circumstances, not with a passive complacency, but with a hopeful fortitude that actively resists weariness and defeat. Hebrews 10:36 says, "For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise." We are "strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness". Kindness does not necessarily mean being nice. One can be kind and not nice. Nice is defined by dictionary.com as being agreeable. In contrast, kindness is acting for the good of people regardless of what they do.
Strong's #5544: Kindness is goodness in action, sweetness of disposition, gentleness in dealing with others, benevolence, kindness, affability. The word describes the ability to act for the welfare of those taxing your patience. The Holy Spirit removes abrasive qualities from the character of one under His control. (emphasis added)
The word kindness comes from the Greek word chrestotes (khray-stot-ace), which meant to show kindness or to be friendly to others and often depicted rulers, governors, or people who were kind, mild, and benevolent to their subjects. Anyone who demonstrated this quality of chrestotes was considered to be compassionate, considerate, sympathetic, humane, kind, or gentle. The apostle Paul uses this word to depict God's incomprehensible kindness for people who are unsaved (see Romans 11:22; Ephesians 2:7; Titus 3:4).
One scholar has noted that when the word chrestotes is applied to interpersonal relationships, it conveys the idea of being adaptable to others. Rather than harshly require everyone else to adapt to his own needs and desires, when chrestotes is working in a believer, he seeks to become adaptable to the needs of those who are around him. Kindness is doing something and not expecting anything in return. Kindness is respect and helping others without waiting for someone to help one back. It implies kindness no matter what. We should live "in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left". 2 Cor 6:6-7Goodness (Latin: bonitas)

Faithfulness is committing oneself to something or someone, for instance, to God, to one's spouse. Being faithful requires personal resolve not to wander away from commitments or promises. It's not always easy to be faithful. It takes trust in God. "O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth". Isaiah 25:1 "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith". Gentleness, in the Greek, praotes, commonly known as meekness. The New Spirit Filled Life Bible defines gentleness as:
"a disposition that is even-tempered, tranquil, balanced in spirit, unpretentious, and that has the passions under control. The word is best translated 'meekness,' not as an indication of weakness, but of power and strength under control. The person who possesses this quality pardons injuries, corrects faults, and rules his own spirit well."

Gifts of the Holy Spirit
Apostle: The title apostle comes from the Greek word apostolos which means "a messenger, one sent forth with orders". It refers to one who has been delegated authority by another, especially for representation in a foreign land. Apostles were the first leaders of the Church; they were commissioned by Jesus to initiate and direct the preaching of the gospel. While the majority of Christians agree that the title of apostle is reserved for those among the first generation of Christians, many Christian denominations continue in one way or another to recognize a continuing apostolic ministry. Many churches, such as the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Churches, believe in the doctrine of apostolic succession, which holds that properly ordained bishops are the successors to the apostles. Other Christian groups, such as classical Pentecostals, consider the role of a missionary to be fulfilling an apostolic ministry. There are some Christians, however, who advocate restoring the Fivefold ministry, including the formal recognition of the office of apostle. Others would say that the office no longer exists.
Prophet: In the New Testament, the office of prophet is second only to the office of apostle (1 Corinthians 12:28; Ephesians 4:11). The prophet's corresponding gift is prophecy. Prophecy is "reporting something that God spontaneously brings to mind". Many, particularly Pentecostals and charismatics, distinguish between the "office of prophet" and the "gift of prophecy", believing that a Christian can possess the gift of prophecy without holding the prophetic office.
Evangelist: An evangelist is one who devotes himself to preaching the gospel. In the New Testament, evangelists preached from city to city, church to church.
Pastor: This term derives from a Greek word for "shepherd". Pastors are gifted to lead, guide, and set an example for other Christians. The grammatical structure of Ephesians 4:11 leads many to conclude that teacher and pastor should be considered one term (pastor-teacher). Even so, the two terms are not interchangeable; while all pastors are teachers, not all teachers are pastors.
Teacher: Someone who devotes his or her life to preaching and teaching the Christian faith. When teaching is provided for the Church by God, two gifts are actually given—to the Church is given a teacher and along with the teacher comes a divine capacity to teach.
Service: The word translated as "ministry" is diakonia, which can also be translated "service". Since there are many types of ministries and service to the Church, this then describes a broad array of gifts rather than a single gift.
Exhortation: The ability to motivate Christians "to patient endurance, brotherly love, and good works".
Giving: Those with this gift share their own possessions with others with extraordinary generosity. While all Christians should be givers, those possessing this gift will go beyond this normal giving.
Leading: This gift speaks to the various leadership roles found in the Church. While many think of roles such as administration, management of funds, strategy planning, etc. as functions outside of the supernatural realm, in reality individuals in these positions are just as in need of supernatural empowerment as are ministers of the gospel. Some writers consider the gifts of governments and leading to be the same gift, but others consider them closely related yet different.
Mercy: Possibly identical to the gift of helps, the mercy-shower possesses a ministry of visitation, prayer, and compassion to the poor and sick.
Word of wisdom: An utterance or message of wisdom supernaturally granted to an individual. For Paul, wisdom refers to "the knowledge of the great Christian mysteries: the Incarnation, Passion, and Resurrection of Christ, and the indwelling in the believer of the Spirit of God (1 Corinthians 2; Ephesians 1:17)".
Word of knowledge: The knowledge referred to is often said to relate to understanding Christian doctrine or scriptural truth. It is sometimes said to be connected with the ministry of teachers.
Faith: This refers to that strong or special faith "which removes mountains, casts out devils (Matthew 17:19,20), and faces the most cruel martyrdom without flinching". It is distinguished from the "saving" and "normal" Christian faith.
Gifts of healings: The ability to supernaturally minister healing to others. The plural indicates the variety of sickness healed and the many forms the gift takes.
Working of miracles: The performance of deeds beyond ordinary human ability by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Discerning of spirits: The capacity to discern, distinguish, or to discriminate the source of a spiritual manifestation—whether it emanates from a good or evil spirit. It seemed to have been particularly associated with prophecy as it would be necessary to know whether a prophetic utterance was truly inspired by God.
Tongues: The supernatural ability of speaking an unlearned language Paul seems to have distinguished between the public use of the gift (which must always be interpreted) and the private use which was for the spiritual strengthening of oneself. Currently among Christians there is a dispute as to whether tongues were/are always xenoglossy (speaking an unlearned human language) or whether it also included/includes glossolalia (speaking an unlearned and allegedly non-human language of heavenly or angelic origin).
Interpretation of tongues: This gift always follows the public exercise of the gift of tongues. In 1 Corinthians 14, the Apostle Paul required that all speech in Christian worship should be intelligible. This required that speech given in an unknown tongue be interpreted in the common language of the gathered Christians.
Helps: This gift has to do with service to the sick and the poor. Possessor of this gift has a "spiritual burden and a God-given love for the needy and afflicted".
Administration: Also called the gift of governing. The Greek word translated "governments" is kubernesis, the verb form of which means "to steer" or "to be a helmsman". This gift then refers to the God-given capacity to lead or guide the Church through storms and difficult seas.-

Every man that has any feeling of the weight of his sin, or any true desire to be delivered from it by Christ has learning and capacity enough to make his own prayer. For praying is not speaking forth eloquently, but simply, the true desire of the heart.
The most simple souls that have accustomed themselves to speak their own desires and wants to God, in such short but true breathings of their hearts to him, will soon know more of prayer and the mysteries of it than any persons who have only their knowledge from learning and learned books.
It is not silence, or a simple petition, or a great variety of outward expressions that alters the nature of prayer, or makes it good or better, but only and solely the reality, steadiness and continuity of the desire; and therefore whether a man offers this desire to God in the silent longing of the heart, or in simple short petitions, or in a great variety of words is of no consequence. But if you would know what I would call a true and great gift of prayer, and what I most of all wish for myself, it is a good heart that stands continually inclined towards God.

Praise and Worship
I personally believe this is the most pure form of prayer. It is when we seek to come into His presence simply to behold and adore Him. To contemplate the magnificence of Who He is and all He has done for us through His love.
One can look around at creation and see such great beauty and majesty. It can make a person feel so small and insignificant. Yet that is not the way God sees it. He has chosen to love and value us about all His other creation. He made us in His image and desires fellowship with us. Let this truth invade you as you come into His presence.Prayer of Confession
It is important for each of us to acknowledge that we have all fallen short of the Glory of God. Even the most devout of us should recognize that all our righteousness is as filthy rags. None of us can ever be worthy enough to stand before Him. But He has made the way. If we confess our sins He is faithful to cleanse us and deliver us from all unrighteousness. Jesus has ripped the veil that we might come boldly before the throne of Grace. This is the gift of God. But always remain humble and grateful. Although we take many everyday things for granted, we should recognize that we are wholly dependent upon Him for life and breath and all things. Just living in this world make us to have needs. God wants us to bring our needs and desires before Him. But be diligent to distinguish between your needs and desires and His. The Word says He puts His desires into our heart. This type of prayer always makes me thing of the 10 lepers which Jesus healed. Only one returned to worship and give thanks. We should all take time and effort to remember the provisions and blessings we have received. It is easy to look around and find someone who has more. It is easy to look around and find those who have less. It is easy to get our eyes on material things and forget what really matters. Don't limit your thankfulness to what God has given you - but also to what you have given God. How has He allowed you to be used for His glory?Prayer of Intercession
God loves intercessors - those who devote time to praying for the needs of others. This is perhaps when we are most Christ-like. How many are willing to shed the admiration of praying for others and spend time alone in their prayer closet - not for themselves - but for someone else. It might be someone you know well or just someone who God has laid on your heart. Don't consider things coincidence or accidents - begin to recognize the promptings of the Holy Spirit. The more you respond, the more God will use you in this way.-

Prayer is important because it makes us more like Jesus and because it reveals to us the heart and mind of God.
Ordinary people can’t be expected to drop everything to pray, right? Actually, ordinary people can’t afford not to pray. Prayer is a gift given to us—and an activity expected of us—by the Lord. The Bible often says, “when you pray,” not “if you pray,” because prayer seems to be assumed of God’s followers.
Praying because we’re “supposed to” isn’t always enough to motivate us, but the truth is that prayer is much more than a rule. Prayer is important because it makes us more like Jesus and because it reveals to us the heart and mind of God.The Importance of Prayer
Prayer makes us more like Jesus
If we look at the life of Jesus, we see that he prayed—with others (Luke 9:28), for others (Matthew 19:13-14), and on his own (Luke 5:16, Luke 6:12). It was a fundamental part of how he approached each day and every decision, retreating faithfully to spend time with his Father.
Clearly prayer was important to Jesus—it was his lifeline and his connection to the Heavenly Father. It equipped him for the battles he was about to face. It kept alive the intimate relationship that sustained him. And it revealed to him God’s desires and direction.
If the goal of a Christian is to become more like Jesus, that process should include imitating his actions and living out his words. As we pray, we will become more like Jesus, and we will find that prayer changes us.2. Prayer shows us the heart of God.
When Jesus prayed for his disciples in John 17, he prayed for those who would believe in him, “that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you” (John 17:21).
Prayer helps us become one with the Father and have the kind of relationship Jesus had with him. The Bible is filled with stories illustrating God’s desire to have an intimate relationship with his people, and any close relationship involves communication. When two people have no contact with each other, their relationship will never advance. And since prayer is, quite simply, a conversation with God, it is how we get to know him.
When we come into his presence, all pretense is gone—there is no longer anything to hide because he sees all and knows all. Prayer humbles us because as we spend time with him, we realize how powerful and able and good God is and how much we need him. And yet, God accepts us as we are—not because he wants us to stay that way, but because he knows that the relationship comes first.
As we grow to love him, we will want to become more like him. When we find forgiveness through prayer, God softens our heart and allows us to forgive others. When we experience God’s compassion and mercy, we will share that with others. When we understand that God’s grace is freely given, we recognize that no one is any more or less deserving of God’s love than we are, and it transforms our hearts and our actions, helping us reveal God’s generous love to others.3. Prayer reveals the wisdom of God.
The best part about prayer is that it’s a conversation that goes both directions. Yes, we will talk to God, but when we spend time with him and are willing to receive, we will also hear from him. James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
Jesus prayed all night before selecting the 12 apostles (Luke 6:12-16), and he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane to try to ascertain God’s will regarding what God was asking him to do. His time in prayer helped align his will with that of the Father, just as our time with God will do for us. After getting in touch with the heart of God and realizing how much he loves us, we will learn to trust him and value his insight and guidance.
As we spend time talking to God, he aligns our will with his, changing the way we experience a situation and respond to a problem.
Sometimes we miss his answers (because we’re not listening or we’re expecting a different answer so we don’t recognize it when it comes), and other times the answer comes through reading the Bible or talking to others, but God will answer. His wisdom far exceeds our own because he sees farther and loves deeper and has his sights set on an eternity with those he loves, not just gratification in the immediate moment. I realize this still remains a quite controversial topic among Christians. Modern sensibilities tell some there are no such things as demons -- merely mental illness and such. Then there are arguments over oppression and possession.
The fact remains that Jesus, who was God in the flesh, said there were demons, and cast them out of people. He has given us His authority and commanded us to do the same. "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." Matt. 10:8
Though we are flesh and blood, we are spiritual beings. There is a battle between good and evil. Most Christians are fairly decent and have never been exposed to the darkness that dominates some lives. They suffer demonic attacks as part of normal life. They do not recognize their source. Satan doesn't always want credit for his work. Sadly, they often even believe it is God tormenting them for their own good.
Deliverance doesn't always have to be from something overwhelmingly demonic. In Romans chapter 7, Paul talks about knowing what is right and yet not being able to do it. Deliverance can free you for a closer walk with the Lord.
We are not talking about making Satan and demons the central focus of your life. We just want to deal with spirits as they arise and then be about the Father's business. But deliverance is not just a one-time thing. We must be ever aware of the schemes of the adversary.

I ask You, Lord, to send ministering angels to assist in this deliverance. All demonic activity is bound according to Matthew 16:18-19. I thank You, Jesus, that Your name gives me authority. Your blood that You shed gives me covering. Being in agreement with You gives me bonding. Binding and loosing gives me my keys to the kingdom. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He has come in the flesh, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life. I confess that He died for me on Calvary, was buried and three days later, arose, victorious over death, hell and the grave. Father, in the name of Jesus, I want to be free of all of the past iniquity of my personal life, including that of my forefathers. I know that all of my sins are forgiven by the blood of Jesus and that as far as You are concerned, it's just as if I had never sinned. But I also know that there are experiences in the past that have had a profound effect upon my emotions, mind and will. The enemy has used these to oppress me and keep me from changing. I want to deal with all of these now, especially those that came in through the perversity, fault or iniquity of my fathers and that have caused me to not realize complete liberty and freedom in the Lord Jesus Christ. As I am shown each of them, I will confess them as sin unto You. I now confess the sins of my fathers, known and unknown. Binding and Loosing
In Matthew 16:19, Jesus is talking to Peter, "And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will have been loosed in heaven."
In Matthew 18:18, Jesus is talking to all the apostles. "Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."Bind
Strong's 1210; deo (deh'-o) bind, be in bonds, knit, tie, wind. Vines adds that to be bound can mean to be under the constraining power of the Holy Spirit.Loose
Strong's 3089, luo (loo'-o) loosen, break (up), destroy, dissolve, (un) loose, melt, put off. In Luke 13:16 it is used to denote being made free of disease. In Rev 1:5 it is used when Jesus was released from death. In Acts 2:24 it says Jesus was raised up by God, being loosed from the pains of death.
We can bind all the spirits at once. He also brought to mind 2 Thes. 2:7 "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way." Most teach that the restrainer is the Holy Spirit, but this cannot be as many people are saved after the Antichrist is revealed. Also, Jesus said the Holy Spirit would be with us always. The Holy Spirit is the power that does the restraining, but it is through the overcomers. We could not restrain lawlessness by working with individuals, but must do so by treating all evil spirits as one entity. Jesus did not differentiate each spirit, indeed, did not use the plural, but said "unclean spirit."
Ps. 149:8 says we bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron. Fetters usually were made with woven rope, so this is implying more permanence. We are to bind all unclean spirits whether they are in people, animals, equipment, buildings, the dry places, between assignments, or in the heavenlies. In Matt. 8:12 Jesus says some of the Jews will be cast into outer darkness. Also in Matt. 22:13 and Matt. 25:30. Where is outer darkness? I don't know what or where this refers to but it is not earth and sounds like outer space. Are spirits there to torment them? We take no chances but bind them all.
Bind and Loose as the Holy Spirit Leads
For me, it is something like this:
All unclean spirits, you are bound in Jesus' name and you will not communicate, manipulate or operate in any manner. You will not move or transfer, but are literally bound by the Word and Power of God. All your operations will cease. Any disobedience will result in your immediate removal to the abyss.
Satan, you and your princes of darkness, and all in your chain of command are bound in Jesus' name. You will not communicate with each other or with your demon troops. As God sees fit to release you, we speak confusion, error, failure, and infighting into your hierarchy. We loosen all people, animals, equipment, nations and buildings from your schemes and manipulations and we destroy those works in Jesus' name. You will not resurrect any work except as made legal to do so by a person under your control who desires it. With any disobedience, you will join Abaddon and the others in the abyss. There will be no reproduction in your kingdom of any kind.
In all the righteous people of God, cellular reproduction will be restored to the way God intended. All fragmentation, mutation, and perversion of this process will stop. The aging process will be reversed.
We bind the actions of harmful bacteria, microbes, viruses, retroviruses, amoebas and all other disease causing organisms to cease on God's chosen and we loose them from the damage that has been caused.
We loose all God's people from physical and spiritual blindness and deafness.
We loose all the finances that have been stolen from God's people and command it to be returned seven times over.
We bind all God's people to Him and all that He has chosen for the harvest. We loosen them from the grip and influence of the enemy.
We bind our minds to the Mind of Christ, our will to the Will of God and our emotions to most holy emotions.
We bind favor with God and man to those who are walking uprightly with God.
We loose the pain of death from all God's people who are not ready to go yet.

Heart issues deal with our personal longings, opinions, emotions: the things of our own soul. Intrinsic dreams may also include things of a predictive nature that may one day happen to us.

Types of Dreams
Healing: can encompass physical, emotional and spiritual. This type of dream results in forgiveness and love towards those whom you may have ill feelings.
Flushing: Many people have had dreams in which they do strange things such as romantically kissing a brother or sister or a member of the same sex. These dreams can be very confusing. Flushing dreams "shower off" day-to-day spiritual encounters with such as demons of sex, sexual perversion, violence, anger, etc. Apparently, because they are exposed in the dream, these spirits lose their ability to grip you. The dreams we have simply "shower" these things off. We don't have to partake in anything to get soiled.
Calling: Reveals the anointing, vocation or ministry to which one may be called.
Warning: Do just that -- warn us not to do certain things.
False: Not every dream comes from God. There are dreams that come from Satanic sources or attack. Dreams also arise from our own emotional dilemmas. If a dream violates scripture, it could not be from God.
Body: created by our own body that is outside of normal. Particularly caused by illness or pregnancy. Give these little regard.
Chemical: caused by drugs of any kind. Most anti-depressants suppress dreams. So will too much alcohol.
Self-condition: tell you where you stand with God, including problem areas that need addressing. Courage: give us courage to do something unusual.
Direction: give us direction in a particular area or circumstance.
Intercessory: directs prayer
Prophetic: things to come.
Dark: reveal the plans of Satan. These dreams tend to be black and white or gray scale; muted colors. It is not unusual for the dream to seem pleasant.
Spiritual Warfare: Let you know you're in a war. Don't give in.
Fear: Reveals what could take root and harm us. That which I have feared has come upon me.-

The first thing you do is ask God for the interpretation.
Develop a dream vocabulary list. What do certain symbols mean to you? Is a dog a friendly or hostile symbol to you?
All symbols must be interpreted without violating scriptural principles.
Reduce the dream to its simplest form.
Where are you in the dream?
Watching
Participating -- you probably have something to do to resolve the interpretation.
Or the focus of the dream.
What feeling were you left with at the end of the dream?
Focus on color, texture, smells, etc. What objects or utensils were involved?-

I. Color
A. Amber: glory of God (Ez. 1:4, 8:2)
B. Black: sin, death, and famine (Lam. 4:8; Rev. 6:5, Jer. 8:21)
C. Blue: heaven; Holy Spirit (Num. 15:38)
D. Crimson/Scarlet: blood atonement; sacrifice (Isa. 1:18; Lev. 14:52; Jos. 2:18,21)
E. Purple: kingship; royalty (Jn 19:2; Judges 8:26)

A. Age of people in the dream?

III. Was there transportation involved?
A. Cars, etc. usually symbolic of a group or ministry.
B. Flying usually indicates a spiritual call.
IV. Were there buildings involved? What kind of buildings?
A. windows are symbolic of vision
V. What kind of clothing was worn?
A. shorts, swimwear, coats, etc.
VI. Was there a focus on any particular parts of the body?
VII. Were other creatures involved? Animals? Doing what?
A. Spiders: witchcraft
B. Piranha: people talking against you
C. Snakes: demonic attack and tale bearing
D. Eagle: royalty, power; seeing in distance and strength to destroy
E. Horses: power

A. What color was the storm, tornado, cloud etc?
B. What shape and size?
IX. Numbers
A. The simple numbers of 1-13 often have spiritual significance.
B. Multiples of these numbers, or doubling or tripling, carry basically the same meaning, only they intensify the truth.
C. The first use of the number in scripture generally conveys its spiritual meaning.
D. Consistency of interpretation. God is consistent, and what a number means in Genesis, it means through all scripture.
E. The spiritual significance is not always stated, but may be veiled or hidden, or seen by comparison with other scriptures.
F. Generally, there are good and evil, true and counterfeit, godly and satanic aspects to numbers.
