Lord of all creation - I come to You now in the name of this Jesus I have heard about.  I was born into a sinful world and have lived in ignorance and rebellion to Your truth.  Jesus, I accept You as God manifested in the flesh, born as an offering for my sins.  Born to pay the price I am unable to pay - the price required for restored fellowship with my Creator.  Please forgive me and make me a vessel fit for Your use.  I release any bitterness or unforgiveness in my heart and ask You to deal with those situations.  I believe You were born of a virgin, died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven and are now sitting at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for me.

You are now Lord of my life.

JESUS IS COMING SOON!  HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE IF WE NEGLECT SO GREAT A SALVATION?
Confess Jesus before men and He will confess you before the Father.

Initial Plan

Our county is 16th in the State of Texas of having domestic abuse crimes committed. The plan of PRM is to provide long-term residence for families fleeing from abusive situations. This plan will help them reduce the number of times a family returns to the abuser. This service is not provided by any other program in this city. This community will benefit from this project. And the community is very supportive.

PRM has obtained the property on Block 23 of original Town addition that belonged to the City of Alvarado.  It had one building 140’x70’ with an asphalt parking lot. The tile floor in the building had asbestos. This building was removed properly.

We need to obtain the only remaining house on the block that is for sale. Obtaining this property will make the entire block PRM property. After looking at the house with Pam Rayburne of Rayburne Enterprises it cannot be used for ministry purposes. It must be destroyed or moved in order to build a free counseling, workshop, training and meeting center for individuals and groups.

PRM operates from the house on the northeast corner of the block. It functions as the ministry office and free counseling center at this time and will be until the Peach Orchard Restoration Project is complete. It has been the Counseling Center for four years.

Site preparation included:

Tearing down the building (old library) and selling the material -- removing the asbestos environmentally safely (which has been completed).

Plow and work the ground, prepare the land for drainage, gutters, sidewalks, landscape, irrigation and curbs for the peach trees and gardens around the homes.

Place a display sign on the block showing the community the project and who has contributed to this project.

Start building the 3 or 4 bay garage on the south east corner. Keep building materials in the garage at my home for security and when the garage is built start using that garage to secure the building materials of the homes.

Build the five homes for single dwellings with a common back yard and playground, well lit. Each back porch will face the common back yard. These houses will be meet American Disabilities Act (ADA), energy efficient along with being environmentally safe.

This project will be funded by donations and grants from foundations, etc. They will be obtained to meet the very specific specifications to be considered for funding.

The hope is that five families can find a transitional home and many others can obtain free council, legal assistance, Medical attention, job training, transportation, child care, good resumes, assessment, and security. We also want to address the issues of credit restoration, dental hygiene, visible tattoo removal, and self value and life skills training. Drug awareness is an issue that will need constant attention.

November 1, 2006 was the project start date with Ret. Col. Michael H. Rayburne being the General Manager of the project. Completion is anticipated by November, 2011.
